Hi, I’m SOPHIA

I am a media-focused Creative Consultant and Photographer with an aspiration of creating visibility for all people and celebrating the stories deeply woven within the fabrics of our lives. I work with a wide range of individuals and organizations to support them in sharing their purpose and ongoing missions.

My work is set apart by the intersection I exist within as a Costa-Rican-American woman with a calling to capture pure divinity within the profound and the profane.

This calling has guided me through various experiences working with cutting-edge creatives, to the restaurant industry, all the way to a variety of service-based non-profits.

Although being a creative has been the heart of my career, it equally exists within my personal life. Inspiration for my personal projects primarily derive from my encounters with “everyday people” and the folks I am gracious to call my community. This principle is why my portfolio embodies everything from an amiga flaunting an amazing new outfit we thrifted, to a feature story about an up and coming restaurant, maybe a refugee family docu-series for a resettlement agency , or mockup campaigns for my dream client.

I am a storyteller of the human experience, and with that, opportunities are endless.

Through and through, my work is an offering - a chance to share the authentic experiences individualistic to your organization or personal story through visual and written narrative. I hope my work will empower you to embrace your role in humanity’s larger, interconnected narrative.
